So, yesterday I spent hours and hours in a darkened, un-air-conditioned room, wearing a respirator and grinding cyanide crystals to a dust so I could mix them with some other semi-hazardous chemicals. I then used my chemical cocktail to coat smallish pieces of watercolour paper and dried those papers with a hairdryer. Today, I stacked photo negatives on top of those papers and smooshed them in a picture frame to be exposed in the ultraviolet light of an overcast day while I read a Vonnegut novel.
O, wait. You'll never believe that story. Let me tell you a version you WILL believe, then: I took these pictures with my cellphone and colourized them using PaintShop.

Beautiful job with these. The framing in the first is perfect - slightly off-kilter and not exactly even and I think that's what I love about it.
There's something about the one on the right that I really enjoy. c:
