This is a memorial picture of Keiko who died on the 12th of December 2003. Most of us knew him as "Free Willy" as he was the star of the three films and I don't know about you but he certainly won my heart way back then!

This was drawn with a 2B pencil and I know it's not perfect but it is my first time at drawing an Orca! And what a beautiful Orca to start off with! Keiko was sure something
I used a picture from "The Image Lagoon" on the Keiko dedication page as referance

Nooooooo ..... i luved him most... mainly 'cause of the movies, but he was the one who inspired me to maybe be a marine biologist - in other words, he got me thinking of my carreer choices someday... ... yeah...anyway, I love the picture *cries... ... how can it be???

I loved Keiko. I was very sad when I heard he had died. Gosh, I can't believe its been a year already.
Very nice work on the drawing. I'm gonna fav it as soon as I figure out how. hehe.
