Izzy can be described best as a fish out of water. He began life simple enough as an artic based Alien
(called a Zuraki) on a frigid world in Space. An exploratory probe sent by NASA exploited a wormhole in space, ending up on Izzy’s homeworld of Zura. Izzy (of a naturally curious species), found it, entered the probe, and fell asleep inside. The probe was recalled back to Earth via the same wormhole and Izzy as a result wound up on Earth. Luckily, most people of Earth are willing to come up with any excuse to ignore the out of ordinary things, so must people figure Izzy to be some exotic dog or mutant cat. Izzy, being a shape shifter, naturally adopted a human form to blend in a bit better, but unfortunately, he still doesn’t understand a lot about human culture. Things like having to pay for food and medicine are strange concepts to him. He tries his best though, but his attempts at acting Human are mostly failures (He’ll do things like try to groom people akin to a cat, wandering into places he shouldn’t be, eating people’s plants/flowers ect). He’s a good person (Alien?) though, and fell in love with his new (and somewhat perplexing) home, getting along well with people despite his awkward weirdness, making up for it by being kind (and being cavity inducingly cute).
He spends most of his days begging for treats from old people and playing with little kids in the park. He also currently lives in a cardboard box in some grubby alley, which he decorates with old bottles and coins he finds in the gutters.

Izzy got a bit of a revamp from just being a cute alien I keep drawing to having an actual story. He was due for this for a longggg time, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out a story that didn’t end in suck. Then Stellarmass came along and gave me the inspiration to revamp both Izzy and his species for the better. Mostly I just got a bit tired of Alien characters that show up on Earth but suddenly know everything there is about Humans and how to blend in, or are Aliens that are just people with rainbow colored skin and are totally Desu desu sparkles or some shit. Aliens are called aliens for a reason derp derp derp.
Izzy hangs out with this group of stupid emo kids who adopted Izzy into their group because they think he’s a ‘non-conformist’ like them. All they do is sit on the stoop outside the 7-11 all day, drinking alcohols/smoking cigs they stole out of their mom’s purses, and talking about how the ‘man is bringing them down’. Izzy doesn’t know what they are talking about but hangs around them anyway because they get him slushies sometimes.
One day he’ll get his own story/comic/illustrated story/thing where he befriends a M.I.T Grad U.F.O chaser girl and they have adventures together. Bwee!
