"So high up here."
-----
Eh, not feeling all that great recently. And today was just a bad day. I'm going in and out of feeling great and feeling like crap.
Anyways, did a lot of experimenting with this piece. My first one I tried without linearting. At all. Idk what it's called? o Ao
Piece was inspired by morbid thoughts and the story of Peg Entwistle. Don't know her? She's an actress from the 1930's.
Down on her luck with gaining parts, drunk and depressed, Peg Entwistle made her way to the Hollywood sign, climbed up the letter "H", and leapt at her death. Ironically in the mail was a letter for her to play a major role - the role of a woman who leaps off a balcony and commits suicide in Act III.
This sad tale has always stuck with me, and makes me realize if I just push one more day, if I buck up and say "it'll all be okay," things really can change. Maybe instead of laying dead in a pool of my own blood, I'll be the next lottery winner tomorrow.
Haha, I guess I've just been thinking too much.e

Thinking too much is good. It's helped me a lot so far
I hope it passes soon!
Nice work on the shading, and you sound like me right now.

Glad you can deal with the morbid thoughts and still push through. I do pretty much the same thing, and it's true--you could be the next lottery winner, lol, or something!
.
Anyway ON THE ARTWORK, I like the perspective. It's a lot more interesting/gets the point across better than if you'd simply drawn someone standing on the edge of a building. Plus that cute dress makes imagine what the rest of her must look like

Wow. Great work.
I hope you feel better. I had gone through one of those...times I guess you can call it.
You can get through it. [thumbs up]
