One day I was browsing through SheezyArt to look for tutorials.
I found one, which is called Quick Sketche Tutorial by
Here's the link to that tutorial
http://sheezyart.com/art/view/1953774/
So I figured, "Hey, I'll try it."
Not bad, except for a few things on the drawings. The first sketch, her legs look kinda weird & deformed. The other one, her neck is too long.
Plus, the scanner kinda ruined the sketches.

I would have uploaded this sooner but I was having problems.
It's either the stupid laptop or the editing program that wouldn't except the scanned sketches. Grrrr!!!
Plus, I've been recently working on a project. I'm still working on it.
Anyways, so, sorry

for the long wait, but here it is! Please let me know what you think.
No flame please.
Critiquing is welcome.

That's very good! I can see you made the guidelines and worked from them! And if it only took you 5 minutes, you've obviously learned something. :) The next thing I would recommend working on is weight distribution (for the legs and how a character stands), and...I guess applying the same concepts to different poses. I'm glad my tut was able to help you somehow! I know I didn't write anything on it...but it looks like you understood just fine. x)

That's a good attempt!
My critique is to make the shoulders more slender, you almost have it with your second attempt but notice in the first how they come out at almost right angles. That and make the face more slender as well, its a little bit too round in this one. other than those and a couple of minor tweaks, this looks very good!

I like the second attempt better.
She looks a lot more natural to me in the second one.
In the first one she looks kinda stiff.
