It hurts.
(edit of an old old work of mine. I changed the colors and added most of the blood to create a line of sight)
I didn't draw those syringes (they were brushes), looking back I wish I had, but I didn't really have the ability to draw anything but people and vaugue backgrounds back then.
Also, this is based on a reoccuring dream I kept having (I still have it, only sometimes it's trash or broken glass) about a beach covered with needles that I have to walk on barefoot. I seriously. Keep having. This dream. waaah.
edit: I'm glad you guys like this so much, though I'm guessing it being on and off the front page a day is because it's so slow. hahaha.

I almost wish the character were colored to blend in with the background just a little more. But I love the use of blood as a line of site and the background is really pretty, needles and all.
I've had a dream like that before with glass, and I thought the water would be safe only to find that the ocean floor was covered in it too
