I never nerd out on anything. If I like something I'll buy a poster or a magazine (or both as with lackadaisy and sam & max), I never buy figures but when it comes to the transformers I'm more than happy to explode in too nerd-tastic goo. Come on, it's the fucking transformers!
I bought the prowl and bumblebee deluxe wave 1 (2009) figures a few days ago over the internet. In person the figures have a surprising amount of detail and it's very impressive how they fold into vehicles. Folding them into Autobots/vehicles, however, is a pain in the arse. I spent 20 minutes on bumblebee and 15 minutes on prowl to unfold them. I have no idea how to get them back because the instructions are one way.
They measure 6 inches tall which is rather good. Though they aren't as tall as the two Decepticon figures I have on order, Starscream and Blitzwing voyager figures (2007 and 2008 respectively), both of which measure 9 inches tall. Prowl and Bumblebee are the two shortest bots in the series anyway so I guess it works.
I'm a sad, sad man...
