As I said before, the composition you've used is very effective (haha, you've probably noticed I love those very looong compositions) and simple. I love all the various glow effects, and the contrast of the warm colors in the foreground and the cool in the backdrop. You've definitely captured his essence, and I love the way the hair dissolves into those ethereal wisps.
You didn't have to try to emulate my style here, but I'll have you know that you did rather well. I hope that you had fun with it.
