Character Poem for the Canterberry Tales

There was also a young mistress
Who together with her servant bess
traveled along near the rear
always the two, like two deer
She was a fine young lady who
had golden blonde hair, wrapped nicely in a do
her clothes were finely sown form
the most expensive seamstress who comes
from the city of bath, her garments where
Gold and green that brought out the sure
of her cyrstal green eyes. And Her horse
was of a fine breed and from a good source.
She loved a good home, wehnt will with
the children and was compassionate and kind
She never raised her voice and a smile
was always present as she continued on her travel.

This was written for an english assignment as we read a couple of the Canterberry Tales. We were assigned to pick two out of three of the assignments and this was one of them--to add a character to the Pilgramege. Not as easy as it seems, and I fell out of pattern near the end, but hey, I tried.

I'm not too fond of this one, but I'll post just because.

Enjoy.
