In truth, this is incomplete. I will never finish it because it is complete as an incomplete work.
The girl is a traditional burmese chicka (with slight alterations to my own fancy) wearing a mix of all the burmese tribe's traditional clothes. The hair is classic burmese, some shen here and there and some karen details along with patterns and accessories from other tribes.
Anyway, this is a very serious piece for me. Politically correct or not. Artistically correct or not. Correct or not.
I went to Burma a while ago and I've been working on this for a while as a reflection of what I saw. As a Burmese girl that has been raised in Canada, I've been blessed to live somewhere peaceful. Burma is a military governed country and it's at war with itself. This goes out to anyone who will hear me out and my relatives who is struggling.
I wasn't really planning on posting this but I thought why not? But then again i'm a little scared about what responses I'm going to get. I hope you enjoy it anyway.
