This took quite a bit of time lmao. 4 hours? I forgot to keep track of time.
But yeah, I've been playing Sonic 3 and Knuckles quite a bit recently, and I always wanted to make a decent picture of Angel island, so yeah. Tada.
Other than increasing the saturation by a small amount, no filters were used.

This is pretty amazing, although some parts kind of peeve me.
Say, the mountains for instance, some of the edges don't have enough outer glow.
I also kinda expected some of the visible landmarks (like Marble Garden) to be in it, but I guess you're not gonna put in the time to fix these doodads.
...I should paint the Flying Battery.
This is what I love seeing. People pushing themselves to do things beyond their norm. And it payed off, it looks outstanding.
I think the biggest success is how you've portrait the rockface. You didn't go over the top with detail and kept it loose. Looks great.
Things to keep in mind is remember all 3 spaces of a landscape: foreground, middleground and background. Its missing something of a foreground, which could of made this that much better. Maybe add some cloud whisps closer to the viewer, slightly covering the island? Just a thought.
