EDIT ......*blank stare* WOW.... I was featured? Why, I just... I don't know what to say. I really wasn't expecting that sort of surprise. Seeing, my painting back on the front page was weird at first I thought there was a bug....until I noticed it was in the featured section. THANK YOU SO MUCH! That doesn't even compare to how much I really mean it. ;_;

Rikki Merie's work always shows a strong emphasis to color and gesture, putting expression above all else to powerful effect. In Gift to Earth, she takes it up to the next level, and adds further dimensions of expression in the texture of the paint. And busy as it is, the painting has a clear hierarchy, marked by the use of strong color contrast between fiery reds and electric blues. It's a true feast for the eyes.
