Was really unhappy with the design Gallo had for FvS, so I had him redesigned with the armour he wears later on in the stories I wrote.
Its the armour he wears most of the time, (when he is not sneaking around swordfish while up in the trees that is) except when undercover. Afterall, Fish and Dreadfish all wear standard armour and its a cold day in hell when Swordfish don't recognise one of their own.
Ah yes, I added a shield. Shields help. Alot.
He will wear this up until he obtains his new 'Job' which will be revealed at the conclusion of the FvS Ressurrection comic, (Next page will be up soon, HURRY THE FUCK UP CC AND FIX THE CLUBS DAMMIT!), I'm pretty sure I'd be stepping on some MIGHTY toes with this one.

While spying is his forte, Gallo had commissioned an armour made of tin to wear. While normally rediculously brittle, the tin Armour has served Galloglasses well in battle, causing many a blow which should have been lethal to merely glance off of it. Galloglasses has effectively done the impossible, he has created the durability and strength of Heavy Armour while retaining the relatively light weight of light armour, and the speed and flexibility that affords one.
Spending time in Exile in Fish lands during the 'peacetime' years, Gallo grew more ferocious, losing some of his subtlety and strength and more then making up for it in brute strength, cunning and a sharp eye. As such he knows a great deal about Fish Legion and Dreadfish Civilisation, tactics, culture... and general barbarism. he has put this knowledge to good use, marking it down so that he may help his fellow swords when he returns home. Assuminghe survives that long, of course.
There are those, who are either on his side or have survived an encounter with him, that not only is his 'tin armour' an impossibility, (albeit an impossibility that can be overcome, afterall, all armour needs to be kept in shape or it will eventually break and one will be killed), but that it is possible that he could've made it using some, arcane knowledge, of the variety from the book Gallo had liberated from a Dreadfish base he was imprisioned in. This may explain why his 'tin armour' is black......

I never thought about it until now, but WHY DOESN'T MORE PEOPLE HAVE SHIEDLS? It. Makes. too. Much. Sense.
I like the story behind him as well. =DDD
Kaitos Says:
He looks like a Knight who forgot to wear his Gauntlets
Jetkid Says:
I like the redesign and the backstory is EPIC. Armor is a great idea for armies. With the swords tho, aren't we Supposed to be unrivaled with our skill with our weapons? If thats the case wouldnt that explain why most sword members do not bear armor with their styles of Fighting?<relating this to an earlier comment^^^^^
Shiro Says:
What happens if someone attacks him with a club/heavy blunt weapon?
Wouldn't that potentially crush the armor, and also possibly Galloglasses himself?
Gotta say i love the shield idea though :]
