...Mr. S. Black treats Miss K. Zero to lunch. Apparently he's gone through a time warp, or something. Behold the greasy spoon diner booth of the distant future! It has a digital menu/ jukebox and lots of chrome. Also, in the future, the spork has become the standard flatware utensil, for it is deemed more efficient than having separate spoons and forks. Also, people eat out of trays, since that's deemed more efficient than having separate plates and bowls.
...They're having kimchee lasagna, or something. Future food is all fusiony like that. And Kestrel is snitching a steak fry.
...I think she'd like to believe this qualifies as a date.
