Balthor: Tech God Warriors

Started out as a random sketch of a war scene from Inquisitoria. Ended up as a Spotter and Sniper from a, (just now), faction in the Balthor Universe.

These are warriors of the Tech God, Deus Ex Machina, or however you'd like to call it. Logos Technis Ex Deus, literally a derivitive of various programming languages that have, somehow, been rendered into verbal speech forms the basis of their language and has several dialects, including the Primus Lingus Techis Ex Magos, a Language reserved for the cybernetic Priest caste that rules the society. Their Faith is a strange one, and the worship a fragment of technology that is impossible to reverse engineer, however, when activated it become sa source of infinite energy and a stationary defense mechanism. What little is known of their creed is that the firey wrath that obliterated the human civilsations of earth was wrath coming from a technologically advanced race who either hated humanity or desired that they be destroyed for some other reason, and as such, the revere Several 'gods of technology' and work to create a technologically advanced human race in order to seek vengenance upon whoever was responsible for their downfall. It is one of the few new human civilisations to rise from the ashes and the only 'Force of Order' in Central Europe, where its domain is located.

It is bogged down by despicable debauchery and perversity, and fueding amongst Magos is rife, preventing them from becoming a true empire in the face of the barbarous wretches of the wastes, scavangers, slavers, Street Raiders, and worse besides.
