I am aware that his helmet looks like Metal Sonic, going to redesign it later. After all, I didn't designed him to have in mind the name "Rockbee". I just had this idea in the shower.
I was actually going to host a contest "THE ONE WHO COMES UP WITH THE BEST COLOUR CHOICES AND NAME WILL HAVE A FREE DRAWING FROM ME".
But I guess I don't need that anymore haha. Just had the perfect color and name choices.
And yes, this is an all-new character, from a complete different story from the Saturn one, even though he is a Pleiade.

Just like Space Harrier and Fantasy Zone.
In fact, I kind of inspired over Fantasy Zone for this, it is a SHMUP (shoot-em-up, spaceship shooting games) that have some sort of kiddy platformer atmosphere.
So I thought, what if I did a SHMUP that has elements from other genres? Like a ship that can attack with laser swords and do melee attacks? But still on the SHMUP gameplay?
You'll probably hear more from him.
Any C+C for his design is extremely appreciated. His armor is supposed to look like a bee, sort of, while his helmet is... different, red, like it was from another armor. Why is that?
(Yes, Rockbee = Rocket + Bee)

His design is nice but I wouldn't say it's completely..looking like it was bee influenced at this stage. If you were going for that then I would add more curves to the armor because then it would have some form similar to a bee. The legs are cool and I would make the arms of a similar style. Adds to the 'bee' thing with their legs n all
One thing that irks me about this design is the back panel, it looks like it was randomly put there and looks like a massive rectangle with no sense of..shape. It doesn't look right compared to the angles you've used for the rest of the outfit and the helmet. Maybe you could give it a pointed end? make it more streamlined for flight and give it a sense of depth, as in make it's dimensions not look like a cuboid (considering all the angles you did). If you tweaked it around and made it match the rest of the outfit it would look better :]
The third arm feels out of place with that design, make it sorta match the normal arms but with a mechanical twist so that you know it's artificial. The circles don'tfeel right to me personally.
btw the bolt sword is pretty nifty, you could use it's curved design for the rear thing on the main design too to match! I don't think he needs the hammer though
