Not quite done, but I wanted to upload this anyway. It's a remake of my older track "Thuggish." I got rid of the stolen bassline. I'm quite happy with this track for the simple fact that it marks the first time I actually played one of the instruments. It may not be amazing, but I played the bass guitar. I've also realized that the bass guitarist gets the shit end of the stick, seeing as the bass gets the back burner and you can't hear a lot of the subtle variations I played. Regardless, it sounds pretty good I think. Transitions need some work, a bit more mixing and a lot more drum variation and I'll be completely satisfied.
Anyway, enjoy!

I really enjoyed the first half of this song, but for me, the second half was spoiled by the synthy sound that took over the melody. Just a personal thing, but I much preferred the sound in the first half!
You're right about bass guitarists, they're not exactly in the foreground of the music, but they can make a heck of a difference to how a song sounds!
