Wow... where do I begin? Hrmmm... well, this pic was inspired by one of my favorite songs of all time, Last Waltz by The Rasmus. Every time I listened to it, I kind of imagined myself and John with it, mainly because of a past conversation that we had, haha. I told him I didn't dance unless I had arrows and a dance pad and somehow the mention of the waltz got mixed into that, haha~

The reference used for the pose was found in one of the Hana-Kimi graphic novel books. For anyone that's familiar with the story, it's the part where Osaka high and St. Blossom have to do their school dance whatever it is (yeah, I have to re-read the series ).

I really have to thank Kristen (*The-kat) for putting up with my stupid questions and helping me with shading techniques owo I'm very grateful~ Though, she didn't tell me to play with the textures... I had a lot of fun with that and I think that the textures brought out more 'oomph' to the picture in the long run >w<

EDIT: Okay, so I went back at this with a new shading/highlighting technique that I both learned from *The-kat and have seen online... I may go back and add some extra, darker shadowing... however, I do like the fact that they colors are blended more properly with each other than what it looked like before this.
