Yesterday, I purchased four things:
*More 140lb watercolor paper.
*New size 0 and 00 white nylon paintbrushes.
*A tube of vermilion paint...a new color!
*The X-Men animated series DVDs 1 & 2.
This picture is the result of all that. I'm not a really big fan of Ms. Grey, but she was certainly a good subject for trying out a new color of orange. (And vermilion turns out to be a lovely paint.) Put this together at my boyfriend's apartment while we watched the cartoons. (About 4 hours, I think?)

I like this, though I too don't like her character. I'm thinking maybe it's the red color.
One little critique though... Well, more like an edit than a critique. Her right shoulder isn't colored in.
