YuYu Hakusho

I REGRET NOTHING.

*Cough.* Ahem...YuYu Hakusho. Perhaps something of a guilty pleasure. I've been watching the animated series recently. It is...It is a silly show. And perhaps one of the ugliest cartoons I've ever watched...like they painted it with whatever colors they just had leftover from the last twelve unrelated series the studio worked on. And the animation tends to get really, really, really wonky, especially at important story moments. And it contains no consistent internal rules for the universe. But how could you not love a show that contains such choice bits of dialogue as...

"A knife edge death match."
"A knife edge death match?"
"Whoa, did he just say knife edge death match?"
"What...What are they talking about?"
"A knife edge death match, huh? Well, in all my years of fighting on the street, I've never heard of anything like that, but if I had to guess I'd say it's a fight to the death involving those knives he's got there."

...AMAZING.

(And let the record hold that I am a Kuwabara fan.)
