Positive things first: it's obvious that you are a very talented artist, where anatomy and colour and lighting are concerned. But then...
It's nice to see a twist every now and again, but ultimately, a grizzled space marine is still a grizzled space marine, no matter how you spin it. It's cliched. It's been done.
Would it be possible to have a character in one of those "ultimate soldier" suits, or whatever they're called, that was morbidly obese? That'd be simultaenously original, awesome, and hilarious. I would pay to see that.
But, stagnant concepts aside, this is very good.
The cape is an especially nice touch.
