Tried coloring without use of the smudge tool again. It's a challenge, but I think it's worth it.
You may notice I've been really productive lately. I've been drawing every waking hour the past two days. I think it's time for a break now.

Nevermind, this smudgeless painting style is definitely giving a much sharper, more defined look. I like this style much better. (Though I don't care much for this particular picture.)

I have to say, as amazing as your old coloring jobs are, the lessening of the "raping" of the smudge tool is really working out!
