I re-did/finished this. The original was stuffed into my WIPs/Sketches folder. It was junk, this is better but still not amazing. I have a feeling I'm going to work on this yet again one day.
Seratiel, 3rd incarnation.
Quoted from the old one that I did back in December:
"Seratiel, my fallen Death Angel. This would be his 3rd incarnation after he got stuck on Earth. The wound he sustained when his arm was bitten off is degenerative and in order for him to save what's left of his body he's grown to feed on the life energy of humans. The right half of his body has suffered greatly from the wound and he has removed his right eye (which he now keeps in his left wrist) to protect it. His left eye still works. A disgusting revenant of what he once was he seeks a way to return to Hell to retrieve his arm and regain his lost power."

the whites a wee nip too white. you did marvelous with the face and other details and then the hairs this all white attention getting beacon of attention drawing awaying. shade the hair a bit. define it more, you'll find the piece will be epic good then.

Why change the hair? I like the uber-contrast... Occationally I make drawings like that too. Well, it works this way as well I think. Sometimes less is more, at least when it comes to black and white drawings. ^^
