The Ambition of a Few

...Oh, Viridian, why must you always taunt me so with your near-to-uselessness as a paint color? If I didn't have Chromium Oxide Green to look after you, would you be able to get anywhere in life? Don't you know that it takes ambition to be a good paint? ...But how does that apply to monarchs?

Hmm...Elly never did want the job. But then, she's kinda dumb. (Obviously. Nobody who'd spend the night with Arrio can be that bright.) Good thing she can win a crowd over with her silver tongue and impressive amounts of cleavage? Annamaria's paranoia is perhaps not entirely unreasonable.
