Vampre; Prologue
It’s all quiet, all I hear is the sound of my beating heart and footsteps on the pavement. The moon is out, it’s full, so everything is coated in a white-blue glow. There’s sweat on my forehead, despite the cold air, it’s nearly freezing out here. I’ve been running for nearly an hour now. I’m running from a Vampre. Not to be mistaken for a “Vampire”. A Vampire is more animal like, though it’s reflexes are slow. Most are usually solitary, and preys on animals. But every now and again, one wants a taste of us, but at the moment, this one, wants me.
I lean against the wall and catch my breath.
“Tsk tsk tsk, You should give up, love.” I hear in the darkness. The voice is thick with an accent I can’t place, “I’m always going to find you.”
I hear his footsteps approaching. He draws close to me, clasping his hands on my arms, slowly applying force. He smiles, I see his teeth gleaming in the darkness, their perfectly aligned, accept for the two fangs, identical on both sides. I feel his fingers on my face, caressing my jaw line, sending chills down my spine and goose bumps to crawl around my arms. The sound of ripping cloth fills my ears as he pulls the collar of my jacket down. He rips away my scarf and throws it on the ground. My shaking hands try to push away but they fall limp.
He slowly puts his face to my neck. His lips softly touch my neck, then they spread. At first like it’s two small pricks, then the pricks slowly grow as he pushes the fangs into my skin. I gasp as I slowly feel the teeth touch a nerve and I loose feeling to my arm. They begin to feel as if their getting longer, as I can feel his other teeth on my neck. I can almost swear they touched bone before they quickly retreat. Then I feel a pressure on the wounds, no, not pressure, suction. I can feel all of my blood rush to that one spot. My veins feel almost if they‘re collapsing. I begin to feel lightheaded, I almost loose consciousness, but I stay perfectly awake. All of the sudden I feel cold, I’m dry, no blood left in me. I feel my heart beat as hard as it could, it starts to hurt, then it stops altogether. Last thing I know he’s letting me go and I fall to the ground.

Have you submited this before?
I really liked this! I thought it was written well, I loved the descriptions. Also some mistakes I saw:
"Most are usually solitary, and preys on animals."
Should be prey.
"..I see his teeth gleaming in the darkness, their perfectly aligned..."
Their should be they're.
"I begin to feel lightheaded, I almost loose consciousness..."
Loose should be lose.
Also, in the beginning I was confused when you started to talk about Vampre's. You said not to mistake them with Vampires and then you made it seem like a Vampire was chasing the girl(?) because it wanted to taste human blood and then never said anything else about Vampre's.
