Randomosity #47 - The Rock Show

I know! It's a dark joke! Holy crap, I might offend someone! If you're one of those people, I'm sorry!

So here's the story behind this one. Back in my college apartment, Rock Band was a regular past time, we got the full band going at least once a week. One night, we did a Make a Setlist and the song we opened with was "Still Alive" from Portal. Before we got the songs, the charity show prompt came up, which we promptly ignored, per the usual. After Still Alive, it occurred to me "what if we had done the charity show?" I posed the question to my friends and we unanimously decided that the charity would have been for cancer victims and that Still Alive was the most insensitive song we could have possibly picked. Thank God we didn't offend the sick digital people.

I was laughing so hard I could barely sing the next song.

If you were following the WIPs of this piece, you'd know that the band members are Rock Band-esque caricatures of Cailen, Psyguy, and Alan S' avatars, with the singer being my in-game character. It's not strictly necessary to know that, but I think it's a fun Easter Egg should you choose to pick up on it.
