Batman Returns

A bit of experimenting for me.

Thought I'd invest in some black card and try my hand out at a different approach to drawing.

Instead of using line I focused on shading tonal areas, I used no graphite pencil in this, only Prismacolors and European alternative Karisma colours.

I'm trying to speed up my output. Black backgrounds seem to help me a lot. Uses less of my pencils and this one was complete in about 5 hours.

I completely forgot how good Michael Keaton was as Batman and how awesome Tim Burton's representations were. After watching the 80's and 90's versions again, I had to do it some justice.
