They're wonderful, wonderful people. They had been in touch with me about losing Gabe, and later that week, offered us something...

If we were willing to show and co-own another dog on this coast, she had a puppy who would like to come and live with us. Of course, only if we were interested, she understood we might not be ready for this. It was an amazing, generous offer, and one I cannot thank her enough for.

I got the email and sat there, stunned, and then called Matt at work. He's partial to brindles, while I have to say, I love the merles.

Needless to say, I went and picked up this young man at the airport yesterday. *laughs* He's got attitude, for sure. Heard him howling from the moment they wheeled him off the baggage cart. He trotted right in, made himself at home, and him and Simon have hit it off pretty well. Have to admit, he's a darn cool guy.
