Liz Howell

Another character resulting from the "Project Kinsuji" idea. This is Elizabeth Howell, or "Liz," who stands in for Fay Howell from the initial Mach Rider 2 concept. Were there an actual relationship, they would be cousins.

Liz Howell is quite intelligent and very tech-savvy, much like Fay. She also shares some of the same duties: developing attack strategies, maintaining the ship and the vehicles, and utilizing a database of information to solve difficult problems. Unlike Fay, she isn't as skilled at combat, so when she says she isn't that great of a soldier in the battlefield, she usually means it. Her friend Aiko is trying to build up her nerve and sharpen her combat skills, as there may be a time her assistance on the front is necessary. Also, she sports a toolbelt with a holocom buckle. The buckle allows her to utilize a computer wherever she goes by creating a number of holographic, space-sensitive panels (Sam Barker utilizes the same, and came up with the technology initially).

Liz was modelled roughly after the rough collie. She is the shortest member of the team, not counting qBALL. Liz is a kind young lady who cares for her teammates and attempts to keep things running smoothly between them. She has known Aiko for many years and knows a lot about how she thinks and acts, so Tora often comes to her for advice on how to deal with his teammate. Liz admires Tora's skills and experience, and shows him great respect. And as you could imagine, she finds Sam Barker rather interesting.
