Whew! Okay! I finally finished this piece! This is one of those I'm going to hold up to slap around people who say "Digital/3D art is easy! The computer does all the work!" Riiiiight. Sorry, if that was the case, this wouldn't have taken four days to get to the point where I like it (3 of those pulling overnights until I finally couldn't stay awake anymore). There was a TON of hand painting and post-work done on this thing to make it work the way I wanted it, too. Not to mention editing across several layers to get the look I wanted. So, anyway... I'm happy with it. :-)

Items used:

* Melody character/morphs/texture by Lady Little Fox and Capsces (runtimedna.com)
* Helix Robot by bioMechanix (Turbo Squid)
* Dystopia City Blocks by Billy Home, Moebius87 & Ajax (Daz3d.com)
* Sword from the V4 Ranger by 3D Universe (Daz3d.com)
* A3 Classy Shoes by Vince Bagna (vincebagna.com)
* Fuzzy Wuzzy Shader by Marianne (http://cinnamon.hotusa.org/poser/mariannesposerfreebies.html)
* Cool Fever Clothing for A3 by AS3Design (Daz3d.com)

Everything was initially posed and lighted in DAZ|Studio in multiple renders and then put together and post-worked in Paint Shop Pro X.

YAYAYAY! Epicly done!

Bozo Says:

I like this very much. As I have mentioned before, I like nearly everything you do. I have to say I am totally lost on your description,but as I am no artist I can`t be expected to understand the technical side I guess. Post-pork is a point in case.What the devil is post pork???.

Ninjachef Says:

Nice job with the posing and stuff. I can tell you did a lot of work with the fur to get it to look believable. It's not easy to do that with Daz|3D.

As a Blenderhead, though, I feel obligated to preach the gospel of Blender here. You'd do well with it.

imago3d Says:

I know what you mean. Everyone says 3D is easy, but I've still yet to have one of these people who says that to take up the challenge and show me how easy it is by them rendering something themselves. *laughs* But that looks great. I render in Lightwave and fur is a pain no matter what you use to render it. >.<

So, I'm guessing the shader uses a displacement map? I haven't used Daz Studio much, but it looks really good.
