I couldn't decide whether I liked the picture with or without a background so I thought, "Why not both?"
Mmm, lineart. Mmm, symbolism. Mmm, textures. Here I go again, being feckless. I should be working on the painting I have half-way finished. But no. I waste my time on these two.
*Happily frustrated*
Riku and Nevaeh are alone at last. Why are they dressed the way they are? Where are they? How did they come to be alone without jeopardizing their facades? *Shrug*
I might write a one-shot based on this picture. In all actuality, I have no idea how this happened. O.O Very rare.
Yes. Riku fixed his hair. With glue. And, yes, Nevaeh's wearing clothes she probably wants to set on fire. She's wearing tights for goodness sake!

It looks great both ways, but I particularly like the one with the background. I also just love your character designs ~ The textures are a nice touch and Nevaeh's shirt is adorable.

I think the one with the background looks especially well, and, while Nevaeh may seem a bit out of character clothing-wise, I think it is a very sweet pose. I love it!

When I saw the preview I thought "A WEDDING!"
I was surprised to see these two like this, they look so different as adults. You aged them so well though, they look grown up but are still easily recognisable as themselves. I love the cute pose, they look rather out of character but it still works :3
As always I love the way you merge such simplicity with all the wonderful details, and the lack of shading works amazingly well with those yummy textures x3
