(lolol I don't think he was that rank when this was taken, but I couldn't come up with a better title)

This is Claus von Stauffenburg, one of the men that came up with the plot to assassinate Hitler on July 20th, 1944, by blowing him up via a bomb hidden in a suitcase while he was in a meeting at the Wolf's Lair.

I've been wanting to draw him for a long time... D: either a real picture or a picture from Valkyrie, but I figured it'd be weird to not draw the actual guy.

It annoys me to no end how Hitler managed to survive that. There was a bomb in the same room and he managed to survive with what... shrapnel from the table and a screwed up eardrum? |:

I went to this Museaum of Tolerance down in SoCal when I was in tenth grade. they talked about operation Valkyrie.
