The Great V'Day Sketch Catch Extravaganzapalooza 2009...#46! For

Katie asked for a sketch of her characters, Sabine Gaudet and the Wendigo of the Isle. I will confess, I've been wanting for a while to try my hand at drawing these guys. I pretty much completely and utterly adore them. The Wendigo is some sort of spirit beastie with a long tongue and very big teeth
who can pry open your eyes and see into your very mind. And he might not actually be real. And Sabine is being slowly consumed by a shadow of her own despair from her mother's murder and brother's disappearance. Oh, and she might also be dead. These two go traveling through curiouser and curiouser limbo worlds (in that lovely kind of Buuya technicolor surrealism) in search of Sabine's brother, Harry, who knows things that they need to know.
