imagination

Imagination

A lazy day passes by,
sweet summers in the air.
Buttercups and Daffodils
creeping side by side.

Tunnels of imagination
show their unsteady support.
My castles walls are my only
solitude from the ever-lasting bustle

Screams and shouts
echo down from rooms above
about which book goes where.
here, nothing is as it seems.

My butterflies could be green or gold
My trees are giant willows
who over look my
crystal blue seas

My birds are mythical and ancient,
never seen by
human eyes before

A sweet lullibye drifts along
on a sweet-smelling breeze.
A window out into my world
of everknowing peace.
