Eventually, a war began to emerge that was NOT the work of Fate. On Apollos, the two groups known as the Light and Shadow Gods, in particular their leaders Arcadia and Thanatos, began great arguing. It became so bad that many lesser angels and demons would be affected by it. Eventually, it would break out into actual fighting. When a group of elves, led by their own matriarch, attempted to quell the fighting, they were killed on the spot.
It was the first time the elves had failed, and concern spread amoung them. They chose to follow their matriarch's last command: should she not return, they were to call upon Excalibur to grant them a new home off of Apollos. Upon doing so, Excalibur created the realm known as Abrana, to which the elves began to flee to. For the unknowning, a realm is a distortion in space. It is a pocket dimension of sorts, with a limited amount of space. Typically, the people the dimension is created for can control it, allowing them to expand it if needed, along with shaping it and created the things they need to live. However, even though the realm is separated, there is always a way in or out, to return to the world they were at before. This never changes, even if the entrance is closed and sealed.
However, even this wouldn't be the end of the problems for the elves.
