-THIS MANGA IS READ LIKE A TRADITIONAL MANGA, FROM RIGHT TO LEFT-
A little secret about Drakosa is that he knows a lot more than he ever gives on. He can, to an extent, see the future. He often knows what will happen and when. This is how he knew Mav had arrived; it had nothing to do with "sensing" his energies as was said a few pages back. It's all a cover. How do you think Drakosa knew where Dhamus was?
To that end, he also knows Skye has lost the proud battle armor he wore as a sarenoid.
Along with this, you may have noticed an abundance of titles used. Drakosa is referred to as "Lord", Skye as some "Chosen One". This is because of my town concept design. Basically, certain regions of the world speak certain ways, have certain accents. For the most part, it is this mix of olde english mixed with some new, kind of like what is found in FF12 and FFT. Some places have a more relaxed feel.
Taloz doesn't.
Given Drakosa is considered the leader of the Zatei, he is considered a Lord of sorts. Even to the non-Zatei who now live in Taloz, he is referred to as Lord. There are other titles about (Tisha and Cirana both have titles, though they are not used often). As for Skye/Mav, Drakosa made a prophecy hundreds of years before he would arrive, saying that a man with black hair and green armour, wielding a magic-bound katana in hand, would mark when the Zatei were reaching their end. When he arrived, they were to move out of their secluded realm known as Nandoleh and return to the surface of Apollos to live out their days. There is, of course, more to the prophecy, but only he knows it.
Of course, Mav was that one, though he had to prove himself by obtaining the sword.
