I'm sure by now some people noticed how stupid Dhamus is. If you don't, I'll explain. Dhamus is Cirana's personal assistant. Cirana does a lot of magical theorem, and is also the head of this massive library. However, Dhamus isn't a fan of books. He often tries to skip out of helping (Which is why he was sitting at the far edge of town; as far as he could be without actually leaving). However, his lack of thinking got him caught when he chose to run ALL the way to the library to let Drakosa know of Skye's arrival, and now he's stuck helping Cirana.
Now, why would I make Dhamus a bit dumb? To make him loveable. I love the guy and so does Cathy, the manga's artist. He's a bit like a child which, when coupled with his small size, gets him treated as such. What I'm especially proud of the development and growth he gets later in the story, though sadly not for a long time. There's so much to get done before then. :(
