As should've been obvious from the beginning, I wanted to set up Skye and Star. However, the more I thought about it, the more I wondered how I would jump start that relationship. Then I had an idea pop into my head...
Star has known Skye, or rather Mav, her whole life. When she was a child, he looked like a full grown man, though as she got older she was made aware that she was, in fact, older. The fact that he was constructed just accelerated his personality growth. So you then have to wonder how Star sees Mav. At a younger age, no doubt she saw him like a brother, but as she got older? She would know he's not related, and her strong fondness for him could blossom into something else. So I made her a bit of a daydreamer, where she has envisioned what Mav would say to her to day he had returned for good.
Gives me a laugh when I think about it.
