To continue on with the last couple of pages, not all the Zatei had basis from the Espers, though one could certainly see it. One could say that Dhamus the Hellfire is to compare to Ifrit, which I could understand. Since both are related to fire, I had to give it. There is one other Zatei who actually was actually was based off an Esper, but on a totally different tangent.
Drakosa the Dragon is a comparison to the infamous Bahamut. Yes, you heard me. However, the reasoning behind it was in Drakosa's personality, in who he was. Out of all the Espers, Bahamut felt like a leader. He felt like he had power and knowledge that others would never comprehend, let alone properly combat. I took this as my basis for Drakosa, and even had his title reference the mighty dragon. It was originally to be "Drakosa the Silver Dragon," but I ended up dropping Silver and just had it that some of the Zatei refer to Drakosa as the Silver Dragon. So it's not an official thing.
