Have any of you ever had someone steal your art? having some RANDOM person you don't know claim your art as thier own sucks ALOT, but when it's someone you THOUGHT was a pretty decent person at one point of time, that sucks even more.
Let me tell you, this supposed 'artist' knows me well. At one point of time, she claimed I was her idol. Her style changed alot since I first saw her, and I have to admit it's VERY similar to mine(and I won't be the only one to say that)
Anyway, I did report her to a mod, but nothing has happened that I know of. This is the exact reason I left Deviantart. Because there, THIS would not be considered 'stealing'.
I heard her side of the story and it didn't add up. So I'm posting this to show to you people that things like this can happen to you too.

Hmm, it does look awfully close, but there are definite differences. . . although I do agree; it definately looks like a severly altered form of yours. O.o;; I'm just wondering if, looking at the time it must have taken to do those alterations, it really helped her to steal it in the first place. O.O Bleh. Idiot.

Well, yes I would say she is stealing your art because it does look alot alike. Now if she had said WHO she got the idea from or something, I wouldn't say it was stealing, but she didn't so I'll be quiet...

Jeez, i hate art thieves... I'm sorry if my style resembles yours. It's one of those things where once you draw it, it looks like someone elses. And yeah o.o But yours is WAAAY better ^^ And i also have had art stolen. Couple of people claim my art as theirs, but i usually get my friends to bitch them out

I have this problem, too. Mainly with my character designs.
Good luck biting their asses off. It's clearly plagiarism, but most people are too fucked in the heads to tell the difference, anymore.
