normally I don't go into technical detail on music because I like to focus soley on the music itself, however in this case it feels appropriate to state that this is the most technically advanced and CPU intensive song I have ever arranged, and it has brought me to a whole new level of both mastering and composition techniques. F-Zero GX music was some of my most influential material back when I was very impressionable as a younger musician, and I was shaped largely in part by it's inspiring atmosphere and adrenaline pumping tracks. I had a *lot* of fun paying homage to something special to me, and I REALLY hope you guys enjoy it.

downloads: ORIGINAL VERSION ... REVISED VERSION

the original version was mastered really, really loud. this lead to some distortion in a few areas. the revised version has no distortion. there is essentially no difference between the two, but I wanted to have both for archival purposes.
