Another whack at trying something full on graphic-- black and white for everybody!

So nowadays people don't give Pokemon the love it well deserves... with that said, it's also stated that Pokemon seems doomed to stay put in its adolescent shell; while that's cool and all... I for one seek to climb above that threshold.

Frazetta had his large cats, outlandish creatures and fantastic beings... I think it's only fair that I, in the 21st century, acclimate said fantasy beings, and what better than Pokemon? That's right... I'm actually looking into doing 'ode to Frazetta' type works that involve my most favorite beasts of all time: Pokemon.

In a much more beastly, primal sort of fashion mind you.

Really though, could you imagine what Frazetta would do if he got his imagination wound up around Pokemon? Oh man...

Also, the tattoo design on the trainer's thigh was loads of fun to incorporate, haha!

Radical JoJo Says:

Hotchicks + monsters + children's video games-and-toys-and-cartoons...Yeah...This is pretty much the perfect project for you to be working on.
Looks great! Can't wait to see more.

...My favorite is Eevee, by the way. If you need inspiration.

Caution Says:

Oh man, that is one awesomely monstrous snake. I just love his face and that snappy flip of his tongue. : )
The trainer is quite a rockin' chick herself. She's got great, voluptuous, curves to her body; makes her feel very real and gives her substance.

I've done up a few pokemonsters in more realistic, mature, designs before as well, though admittedly, I've never actually seen, read, or played anything involved with the series. : \
Also, black and white suites this image just fine as well; I'm a huge fan of solid blacks and whites, myself. Really gives an image a bold, heavy, feeling to it, and that certainly applies here. Awesome work. : D
