I suspect that someone might ask if an Angel less wimpy than Darius using a star pendant/halo to boost his magic power could do it, so I'll answer that right here: no.
It's kind of like using a squirt gun on a fire. It'd work on a tiny flame (like a candle), but even a Super Soaker wouldn't be much good against a wildfire.
