In remembrance of a dream and a nightmare. Nocturnal visions, the residual haze at edge of mind; clearer than day.

Those are some pretty amazing eyes. :3
And the sparkles in the hair are subtle, but they help bring the image out. Good job. ^^

Scary Monkey Dragon Says:

The eyes have it all, I can't stop looking at them.

Shadow Dinosaur Says:

This artwork is dripping with emotion. Well done, I do like the fact of him having one red eye and one yellow. Also excellent job on the snow that has attached to his hair. Very nice very nice

HellHoundLady Says:

I love the subtleties in this life the impression his hand is making in the snow and the fine tapestry pattern of his jacket, a very subtle and non obtrusive use of texture overlay. The colors are wonderful.

JelmerBV Says:

Great job!
It looks very realistic ^^

Arbiter K Says:

Very nice. I love how the eyes seem to stare back at the viewer. Well done, Vee, very well done

TazzFruit Says:

Very impressive detail on the hair, and his jacket/top. :0 Over all, I would say this is amazing.

Kiwi Tang Says:

Very beautiful. Love the subtle little sparkly stuff, it gives off an enchanted feel. And now I can't think of any other words to describe this pic's awesomeness, so, amazing job, Vee.

I don't know why but this strikes me as a sort of..... female-energy style balance to the usual strong masculine image we see him in. While being very detailed the whole image is subdued and more in tune with the over all composition and -feel- of the work. The snow is made from water which is usually termed a female element but here it is frozen solid locked in place and holding him up from the cold nurturing soil beneath. Soil is made from death and decay.... and man causes both with his hand.

Wow... The softness of this piece really struck me. It has a nice emotional value to it; it's peaceful, and yet it's sad. As usual, your attention to detail is spot-on. Even the most subtle elements, such as the falling snow and the glittery particles, really help accentuate the emotion here. I love how Shasalis' eyes stand out from the softer aspects of the piece, and you can really see the emotion behind them.

It's nice how it really looks like he is lying on the snowy ground, and the shadows are thoughtfully placed, especially the cast shadows of the trees; that is a very nice touch. Very nice work on the flesh tones and fabrics as well. Shasalis looks quite contemplative here, and lost in thought. He also needs a hug. D8

Very nice work, V; I'm glad you were able to find motivation! :3
