Concept and quality collide in this gorgeous fine art piece by PurpleRose. The varied colors and textures of the eggs are perfectly balanced with their straightforward monotone nest.
As I read this piece, layers of meaning rise to its surface; the raku firing leaving some parts of the eggs finished and bright, others rough and at times not as beautiful - mimicking the unfolding gestalt of life itself; the complete life hoped for.
Beautiful piece - truly excellent, gallery-worthy work.

Very beautiful! And of course, I must mention the texture. I really want to just pick up one of those eggs and roll it around in my hand. Lovely work! :]
