This is for a final due Tuesday for my High Touch meets High Tech class, a class I took on a whim on panic to fill a credit after dropping another class.
The wonderful thing about material-experimentation classes is that the teachers could not give a flip about what the concept of the art is that you are doing, so it leaves the gate open to drag my worlds and characters into the mix. This is experimentation of my newest third story with the girl Akah, I have no clue what's going on, but I'm... kind of digging it. Her story is a lot more earthy-tribal based than Gus's celestial world-beyond-the-stars. Someday I'll show you something more coherent for both these stories, I promise.
This looks strange in a 2D presentation. In reality, it's a 3D diorama, with all those plans printed and set up behind each other to go back in space, and some of the front-most and back-most pieces are longer than the center piece so that they can curve to meet the sides of the middle piece. And maybe, just maybe, I can poke holes through the back and rig up some lights to create flickering stars.
Due Tuesday, wish me luck.

Diorama, eh? If it looks this good on, erm ... virtual paper, then it should look pretty crazy awesome in real life. You'll have to take a picture of it or something once you're done
