Even though I'm a performer by profession, composing/arranging is one of my favorite hobbies. I'd finally like to post a little sample of what I do for fun...
For those of you who know Wolf's Rain, the released soundtracks left off many of the score's true highlights. Toboe was assigned some of the best themes, which I've taken and arranged here. It starts off slow ala episode 30 or whatnot, but it picks up later, so keep listening. :3 Inbetween the two theme cues, I've included a bit of Cheza's song, and also the climactic walrus-attack music, all virtually ignored and only featured once in the entire series. I hope you enjoy my first music post!
EDIT: Switched to a slightly less-crappy piano, fixed the distortion, changed some instrument balance, and shifted it up a half step so the attack music is in the original key. It's still really soft though, sorry about that. =/

Wow, it's so relaxing and soothing....sort of reminds me of Enya or Enigma.....Ya know, sort'a like Lord of The Rings now....(I'm just going to keep typing as I'm listening lol)....like through a forest, and theres something in the distance that I'm coming too.....uh oh....its not bad, but its big, HUGE and mysterious.....something so grand and magnificant....and so beautiful in its amazing glory....and everythings at peace, and you can't help but give into the fantasy that so many thrive for but so few actually reach.....the end
