I completed three pictures in one night. How did I manage THAT?

Damn. This is the first picture of this guy that's EVER been finished.

Sarius Aneirin, older brother of Meileiko (Mei) Aneirin. He is by far one of the oldest characters of mine, his age bypassing even Clymont, Alastair and Shouri. He's older than Lucia, which makes him... maybe... five, six years old? He's also among my favorite original characters, but unfortunately, I don't really get to use him that often. Hell, other people have used him more than I have. And only one manages to keep him fully in character, complete with his undying malice towards Mei.

Previously, Sarius only lived on through [really bad] sprites, mostly because despite his simple design, he's actually a pain for me to draw. Hence why this is the first ever complete image of him. He really needs more attention from me. Hell, it took me over two years to realize that, in his sprites, I made him left-handed.

The picture's fair. I'm kinda happy with how Sarius came out, but I copped out on the background, as always. I will never been good at backgrounds and environments...


Why on earth is this called 'Imperishable Night'? Because of the theme 'Imperishable Night ~ Eastern Night' from the eighth Touhou game - also of the title Imperishable Night - was what I had playing the entire time while doing this, and it was pretty fitting. So it stuck.


I'm atleast glad Sarius actually has a picture to himself finally. It's taken me too long to try drawing him again. I added a few new details since his original design, but mostly, he's still more or less the same.
