The geta sandal is a bit off if you know what I mean. But other than that, it's not distracting me from observing such an awesome background. c:
I really like the use of the icy, cold colours.
Loving the way the character seems to jump out of the picture. The moon looks nice, but the background could've used more features than just that. I dunno, some stars maybe.
Fuck, someone mentioned Xiaolin Showdown and now I can't stop seeing it.
V. nice. Perspective looks spot on, coloring is awesome (love the whole cool feel to it), and I can tell you put a lot of effort into the background. At first glance, I didn't even notice the gradients.
I'd have to say very stylistic background you've got going there man, reminds me of recent movies that have done similar things. and of course you hit the cold thing dead on hahahaha the character pose is nicely done as others have said before.
Very well done, coloring is great, lighting is good as well.
Theres also a sense of symmetry and good balance. You could add clouds to fill
the sky out more but aside from that its pretty SOLID.
