Returning to my roots. Ten years ago in art class I started drawing these bold nudes, depicting specific emotions, and my teacher kinda didn't like it - mostly because I couldn't explain where it was coming from. I hadn't realized my passion for acting then, but today I can see the connection. And I love it.

I use some of my artwork as a screensaver, because it motivates me to get back to my tablet - but it's always the picture I titled "Noir" that makes me want to draw the most. And I finally revisited that idea.

Wow...this is very artistic and beautifully done. If your art teacher didn't like it...they don't know what they're talking about

I really like the concept of this. I've had some strange art teachers. One of them announced to our Basic Drawing class, "You're all trying so hard, and your drawings all look so terrible."

I think she meant to say that we were trying *too* hard, but I don't think that's how it came across.
